2020 Toyota Camry Changes and Redesign
The 2020 Toyota Camry is a comfortable car without much pretension, a very good appliance for car buyers who prefer substance over style. With its recently improved handling and cabin quality, buyers will certainly find the new Toyota Camry competitive and compelling in the midsize sedan segment. Everybody loves something for nothing. That’s what Toyota is giving to the people who buy a 2020 Camry, a slew of additional equipment for last year’s price. Maybe, Toyota Camry 2020 price is same as previous model but with more standard features.
2020 Toyota Camry Exterior and Interior Design
From the exterior, the new 2020 Toyota Camry comes with same exterior design as its predecessor. It still uses the basic concept of Camry series without any improvements on its look. The Camry looks largely reserved with brief flashes of bold styling. The base trim Camry comes as standard with projector-beam halogen headligths with Daytime running lights and chromed upper grille.
Higher trim levels come with LED Low and Hi beam headlights with auto on/off function. Around the sides and rear, the Camry is handsome without overstating or relying on modern language like a floating roof or a too high window line. When it comes to wheels, the new Camry starts with 16 inch steel wheels while higher models are available with 17 and 18 inch alloy wheels.
The cabin is comfortable and provides a certain level of luxury. Due to the slightly longer platform, the vehicle which accommodates 5 passengers will have an improved legroom particularly for rear passengers. Moreover, it’s supremely functional. Big cup holders and multiple storage nooks surround the sporty gear selector, and even the steering wheel has a familiar feel and looks more sophisticated now with its bevy of integrated controls. As mentioned, the Camry uses traditional knobs and dials around its standard 6.1 inch or optional 7 inch display screen. The controls are big, easy to read and simple to use. Latest technologies are also featured such as Wi-Fi, USB ports and Bluetooth.
2020 Toyota Camry Powertrain and Specs
The new 2020 Toyota Camry isn’t only beautiful but also powerful. Under the hood, there are two engines. A 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine and 6 speed automatic transmission are standard. This engine generate 178 horsepower and 170 lb ft of torque. Further, the higher trim available with a 3.5 liter V6 and 6 speed automatic transmission produce 268 horses and 248 lb ft of torque. Rumors are also circulating there will be hybird system. The Camry Hybrid can switch between its gas and electric motors, or use both at the same time. The Camry Hybrid powertrain combines a 2.5 liter Atkinson cycle 4 cylinder motor and a high torque electric motor, producing a total of 200 horsepower for 2020 Toyota Camry.
